Privacy

This page describes how the site currently works, in plain terms. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be treated as a final, legally-vetted privacy policy.

What's stored in your browser

BoliCast doesn't have accounts, and doesn't run its own server-side tracking or analytics. Favorited episodes, followed shows and hosts, your listening history, and display preferences like theme are all saved directly in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device — BoliCast has no server to send it to.

Third-party content

Podcast episodes on BoliCast come from two kinds of external sources: audio files linked from the shows' own RSS feeds, and videos played through YouTube's embedded player. Playing a video-sourced episode loads YouTube's own player, which is subject to Google's privacy policy and may set its own cookies — BoliCast doesn't control this behavior.

Nepalwide ecosystem

BoliCast is one of several independent Nepalwide products. It can be visited on its own or reached through the wider Nepalwide experience; either way, this page describes BoliCast's own data handling specifically.
